Destination weddings

Marry on the water, the sand, or the hills

Kerala is the only Indian state where a wedding party can choose between a lake, a beach and a tea estate — all within two hours of an international airport. We are the team on the ground: we hold the venue file, publish the rates we hold, and design and run the whole week.

What makes Kerala a good destination wedding location?

Kerala combines backwater lakes, beaches and hill stations in one state, served by four international airports at Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut and Kannur. The dry season runs December to February, with October, November and March as value months. Catering at published venues ranges from about ₹2,500 to ₹20,000 per plate depending on the venue tier.

What we bring to it

A destination wedding fails or succeeds on the ground team, because everything — the venue contract, the kitchens, the licences, the weather plan — is decided somewhere you are not. We live with these venues year-round: the file on this site is our working file, and the rates on the cost page are the ones we hold from the venues themselves.

Design is done in-house by the group's own design team, and the calendar questions — which months Kerala actually marries in, and which weeks each community keeps clear — are the first conversation, not a surprise in month three. If you are planning from outside India, this is how it works from abroad.

Questions couples ask first

Why choose Kerala for a destination wedding?

Kerala offers three settings no other Indian state combines: the backwaters, with resorts on Vembanad and Ashtamudi lakes; beaches from Kovalam to Bekal and Marari; and hill stations at Munnar, Thekkady and Wayanad. Four international airports — Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut and Kannur — put every region within a two-hour drive of a direct international flight.

When is the best season for a destination wedding in Kerala?

December to February is the driest, coolest window and the peak season. October, November and March are the value months — good weather at gentler rates. The southwest monsoon runs June to September, when outdoor plans need cover; some couples choose it deliberately for the green.

How much does a destination wedding in Kerala cost?

Catering at the venues we hold rates for runs from about ₹2,500 per plate at a Kochi convention hotel to ₹20,000 a head at an exclusive-use heritage palace, and the venue tier is the biggest single lever. A backwater resort buyout, a beach five-star and a convention hall are different purchases — tell us the guest count and month and we reply with a real range for each.

Can a destination wedding in Kerala follow our own traditions?

Yes. Kerala hosts Hindu, Christian, Muslim and mixed or civil weddings every week, and venues here are used to all of them. We plan the ceremony your family actually follows — the venue, kitchen and calendar around it are our job.
