How do convention centres in Kerala charge for a wedding?
Usually by the day: one figure for the hall and its hours, with the meal contracted separately, often with a cook the family chooses. Some halls attached to hotels charge per plate instead. Ask which model applies before comparing quotes.
Which is the largest wedding hall in Kerala on this list?
On the capacities in our book, Adlux International Convention Centre is the largest at 10,000 guests, followed by Calicut Trade Centre at 8,000. Ask each hall for its seated figure per sitting too, because a sadya is served in rounds.
Can we bring our own sadya cook to a convention centre?
Many day-hire halls allow an outside cook, sometimes with a charge for the kitchen or dining hall; halls run by hotels usually require their own kitchen. Get the rule in writing for both the wedding and the reception.
Do Kerala convention centres publish their hall rates?
Not the ones we have checked. Adlux, Al Saj and Uday Palace publish their halls and seating on their own sites but no rate, as read on 15 October 2026. Each quotes a day rate for a named hall on a named date, so ask for the hall name, the hours and the tax on the quote, and compare like with like.
